Quick setup

1. Open the app and create a 6-digit parent passcode
2. Tap Enable Parental Controls and approve with a parent or guardian Apple account credentials
3. Tap Choose apps and pick the apps or categories to limit
4. Set Allowed time: the hours the apps are allowed. Outside those hours they're blocked

FAQ

1. Does it work offline? Yes. Enforcement is fully on-device, so it works on cellular, VPN, offline, and after a restart.
2. What's "Allow time now"? A temporary parent override that unblocks the selected apps for 15/30/60 minutes, then re-blocks automatically.
3. Forgot the parent passcode? Delete and reinstall the app (this clears it); you'll be able to set a new one. Note that when deleting the app the system will ask for a parent or guardian Apple account credentials.
